About Us

My name is Laura McCartney and I am the sole owner of Dazzling Doggies Grooming Salon, which was established in 2007. I have been an animal lover all my life. I currently own 2 dogs (a toy poodle and a St. Bernard), a cat, fish and a turtle. I love working so closely with dogs all the time. I hope to breed and show poodles someday.


Shiloh our St. Bernard and Bandit our Bichon/Shih-tzu (now passed on to rainbow bridge)

I mostly groom small breed dogs, but am able to groom some large dogs, depending on their temperament, etc. I am willing to try any dog once though, so please feel free to book your dog in no matter what the size!

Clean/pluck ears if needed
Fluff dry using no heat dryers
Brush and comb out

Full cut and/or trim

OUR GOAL

I want to make your dog's grooming experience as stress-free as possible. I try to make your dogs stay as short as possible without rushing the dog through the groom. I want your dog to be as comfortable as they can be during their stay.

My highest priority is the health and well being of your dog.

I promise to treat your beloved dog the same (if not better) than I treat my own!

Frequent water and potty breaks are given

I encourage you to bring your dog's favourite treat, food, or toy to help reduce their stress.

Let me know about any special medical concerns or requests you may have so that I can accommodate.

Everyone gets five dollars off their first groom plus a 5% discount (no GST)

Returning customers get a recurring 5% discount (no GST) - regular grooming can help your pet in so many ways and ultimately reduce vet bills. From preventing ear infections, promoting healthy skin, decreasing shedding, avoiding foot problems from overgrown nails, etc.

You will get $5.00 off each groom as long as the dog returns within 6 weeks (applies to full grooms only)

You will get $10.00 off each groom as long as the dog returns within 4 weeks (applies to full grooms only)
