Gentle Grooming for Happy Puppies

Dazzling Doggies Grooming Salon is excited to introduce a special program designed for puppies aged 4 months and younger. This program includes three sessions spaced four weeks apart, aimed at teaching puppies proper grooming manners, helping them get comfortable with being handled, and familiarizing them with the sights and sounds of a grooming salon—all through positive reinforcement.

We encourage you to bring your puppy’s favorite treats, though we can also provide treats here to reward good behavior. The ideal time to start is at 16 weeks old for the first session, followed by sessions at 20 and 24 weeks. While starting before 20 weeks is best for optimal results, some flexibility is allowed.

Each session begins with brushing, nail trimming, and a bath. We also clean the ears and turn on all grooming tools to help puppies get used to the noises, easing any fears. The goal is to complete a full groom during each session, but some puppies may need two or three sessions to finish.

This program significantly improves your puppy’s grooming behavior and helps reduce fearfulness in new situations. The cost is $55 per session for small to medium breeds and $75 per session for large to extra-large breeds, covering a 12-week period. Appointments must be scheduled four weeks apart.

Regular clients on a four-week schedule will receive first priority for weekend appointments and enjoy the benefits of keeping their dogs clean, happy, and on track for a healthy start in life. Regular grooming supports your dog’s overall well-being, and this program is a wonderful way to begin a lifelong grooming routine.

As your groomer, I’m here to offer advice on training and behavior, demonstrate brushing, nail clipping, and ear cleaning techniques for between appointments, or even schedule quick nail trims, ear cleanings, and brush-outs between full grooms to save you time.
