New Policies in Effect

PUPPY PROGRAM- Our puppy program consists of 3 appointments 4 weeks apart at a DISCOUNTED rate.  If you cancel any of these appointments, regardless of how much notice is given,100% of the cost of will be charged.  As this is at a discounted rate, the 3 appointments are mandatory.

 

BEHAVIOUR- We no longer accept difficult or aggressive dogs.  Difficult and aggressive dogs pose a threat to themselves and their groomer.  Using sharp tools around uncooperative dogs is very dangerous.  If you book your dog and do not let us know that it is difficult or aggressive, once we realize they are we will stop the groom immediately and ask you to come pick up your dog.

 

XL DOGS- We no longer accept XL dogs.  We apologize for this.  These dogs are very hard on our bodies, and our health is important to us.

 

CATS- We do not service cats

 

HEALTH – If you or your pet are experiencing any sort of symptoms of sickness, please reschedule your appointment.  We do not want other dogs, ourselves or other clients getting sick.  Our clients are very important to us.

 

MATTING & INJURY  Matted dogs are extremely uncomfortable and usually in a lot of pain.  We do not de-mat dogs as we are not in this business to torture animals, and the well being of your dog is our main concern.  Matted dogs are at higher risk of skin infections, skin irritation, hematomas and more.  Most dogs are very well behaved once they know their owner has left and we do NOT allow owners to stay for many reasons including safety, insurance purposes and more.  Uncooperative and matted dogs run a much higher risk of nicks or cuts.

 

CANCELLATIONS – We require 24 hours notice for a cancellation (bad weather is not included in this).  50% of the cost of services booked will be charged if we are not notified 24 hours prior.  We allow a 15-minute grace period for drop off.  If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, your appointment will be cancelled and 50% of the cost of services booked will be charged.  We use the NPSSTS for cancellations.  If school buses are cancelled, we will most likely contact you to reschedule your appointment.

 

LATE PICKUP – You will receive a text 15 minutes before your pet is done being groomed.  All pets must be picked up within 30 minutes of the time the text was sent.  Any late pickups will be charged at $1/minute.  If you know you will be late picking up and inform us ahead of time, we may be able to accommodate with no extra charge.

 

PAYMENT – Payment for services is due at the time of service.  We accept cash, e-transfer, debit and credit.  All services are subject to tax. 

 

PRICES – Cost of living increases for everyone, therefore our cost of services increase as well.  Prices can change at anytime. 

 

CAGES– We are a 100% cage free salon.  As we are mostly 1:1, the use of cages is not necessary.

 

TOUCH UPS - We value our clients and want everyone to be happy. Please inform us if you are unhappy with your dog’s groom and we will take a minute to fix it. You may return within 48 for any other free touch-ups if you are still unhappy.

 

FLEAS- If fleas are found on your dog, we will automatically give them a flea bath to help prevent the spread and there will be an additional fee for this, ranging from $10 to $25
